Stop Hunger Now in Batangas Philippines

Did you know that currently 1 BILLION people worldwide suffer from hunger? Or that 1 out of 6 people in developing parts of the world suffer from hunger? or that every 6 seconds a child dies from hunger?
Did you also know that there IS enough food for all of these people to be fed? A part of the problem is distribution of food and getting it prepared and distributed to the hungry worldwide. Did you know that for as little as $0.25 we can provide a meal for a hungry person.
Our goal is to raise enough money to host a Meal Packing Event in Batangas Philippines where we are currently serving in the Peace Corps. If we raise enough money to host a 3 hour meal packing event--we can feed 82 people one meal a day for an entire year!!! For that price of $0.25 a meal, our 3 hour event can provide 30,000 meals to those suffering from hunger in Batangas.
Please help us raise money to host an event with the NGO Stop Hunger Now. We are working to raise enough money to host a Meal Packing Event ($7,500 USD total). We plan to host this event in August and need all money NO LATER THAN JULY 1ST!!
