It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that my sister-in-law, Renee Skaggs, has lost her battle with triple negative breast cancer on Friday, October 27. She finished her treatment back in May of this year in hopes that she had beat it. Sadly, early this fall we learned that it had metasticized and just a couple weeks ago, we realized just how much it had spread. She has been bravely fighting this horrific disease for over a year and although this all happened alarmingly fast, she is finally at peace.
She leaves behind her husband (my brother, Steven) and 4 children. Steven, who is now a single parent, and his children have to learn a new way of life without her. The amount of medical expenses that have accumulated throughout all of this is astronomical. My hope is to raise enough money to help with at least some of the medical expenses. Any and all help is appreciated. No contribution is too small. Thank you all for your love and support.
