Not sure if everyone is aware or not, but Steve has not been feeling well lately. Actually, this has been going on since April. He’s was having some stomach issues, they seemed to get better, but they started back up a few weeks ago. After lots of negative tests they did a CT scan of his abdomen.
We found out last Monday what’s causing his issues and it’s not good. He’s been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We were told it is not curable and all they can do is treat the symptoms and try to slow down the progression.
The purpose of this fund is to cover expenses for some "wish list" items for Steve. What might that be you may ask? A trip to see the Cubs in the World Series (God help us all), a possible to trip somewhere exotic for him and Dana (not strip club exotic), a trip to North Carolina to visit family or all of the above. Whatever it is, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that he gets a chance to experience another memory for all of us to share.
