Steve Konda passed away March 29, 2016 following an 8-month battle with cancer. Steve passed away at the age of 66 leaving behind his spouse of 34 years Richard (Dick) Pierce, five sons, six grandchildren, and countless other friends and family.
In addition to the untimely loss of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, the timing and ferocity of Steve's illness also resulted in substantual medical bills and other final expenses.
To help defray these expenses and help ease the financial burden remaining on Dick, the family has established this account to help serve as a memorial for Steve and Dick's life together.
Losing his husband and partner of 34 years has and will continue to be an emotional burden on Dick, but establishing this fund will help ensure this tragic loss of Steve that is being felt by so many will not become a financial burden for Dick as well. Helping with this fund will be greatly appreciated by Dick and his family and will help ease the concern Steve had over making sure Dick would be all right after Steve was no longer with us.
