Stan's Vision Fund

Stan Conley is a native of Annapolis Maryland. He is an alumnus of Annapolis Senior High School and Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia. While at Morehouse, he was on a football scholarship and played the center position all four years. During his college years, he worked as an intern for the Annapolis Evangelical Presbyterian Church and at Fourth Presbyterian Church. During this time, he ministered to many children in the churches and influenced many lives to follow Christ. He graduated from Morehouse Cum Laude and had a very successful career at the Mobil Oil Corporation in New Jersey and in Fairfax, Virginia. He also opened an Erie Insurance Agency in Bowie, Maryland where he successfully helped his community with processing mortgage loans and life, home and auto insurance policies.

 

In 2019, Stan's health made a life-changing and dreadful turn where he lost a large portion of his vision. Doctors shared that he had a small non-cancerous brain tumor that elevated the pressure in his skull. This caused a lot of pain and damage to his optic nerve in the brain, which now leaves him partially blind in both eyes. Stan can no longer see well, read documents, drive a car, work full time or watch the sport that he loves most- football.

 

Stan now has the opportunity to get the help he needs. There is a treatment for his eyesight called Beike Biotech Stem Cell Treatment in Bangkok, Thailand. He needs to go get this procedure right away. But the expenses for the treatment and travel are over $25,000. Because he has not worked in 2 years, his condition is getting worse. During this season of giving and sharing, we are looking for those that can help Stan get the help he needs for his eyesight treatment.
