Precious Time for Vietnam Vet

Have you ever known someone that has helped make you a better person? That is how I feel about both Stanley and Veronica Lemay. As a youth I would go to their home to spend time with their son and my friend, Jeb. They opened their home to me and our wild friends. We were free to eat, sleep, eat some more, and come and go as we pleased. They showed us how a loving couple should treat each other, how to care for others in need, and how to never want for anything by being content with the love of friends and family. They treated us as their own and now treat our children as their own grandchildren.
In October of 2017, the unthinkable struck this couple, Stanley was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma, it is terminal, has spread, and has taken the wind out of this tough man. I want this couple to be able to spend every last minute together. Veronica will certainly need to take all her paid time off to be with Stanley. Any extra time off will be unpaid and a heavy burden.
In 1970, Stanley served on the front lines in Vietnam and Cambodia (2nd Battalion (Mechanized) 47th Infantry Regiment 9th Infantry Division, and 1st Cavalry Division). He was awarded numerous medals for his service but is almost equally acknowledged for his countless blue ribbons as a homemade ice-cream maker.
Let's raise as much money as possible to lessen the financial burden that comes with this struggle.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
