Hello. My name is Audrey O'Hearn.
The backstory...
From 2017: My lovely niece, Asha, is currently in hospital and, on Monday, will be transferred from short-term care in Peterborough, Ontario to a long-term care facility in Whitby, Ontario, a two-hour drive from her small home town in Northern Ontario.
I have been at a loss trying to find ways to alleviate the stress in my sister and brother-in-law's lives. In times like this, we all feel more than a bit powerless. As a parent, I feel their pain and I believe that no parent should have to worry about finances when their child is in hospital and is dealing with health issues.
Update: Asha will be attending an educational day program and Lindy and Josh will need to drive to and from Peterborough daily.

Please consider donating. All funds will go toward travel expenses (parking, fuel, overnight accommodations when necessary) for Asha's parents, Lindy and Josh.
Asha and her family have a long journey ahead but, with the support of caring people, that journey doesn't have to be quite so arduous.
