On Sunday July 9, 2017 our dear friend and colleague, Jennifer Morrissey, lost her husband and the father of their three children (Aidan, Alyssa, and Eli) as a result of a tragic kayaking accident. The Morrissey family is in crisis due to the sudden loss of Lawrance and can use our help.
Jen is an amazing woman and mother. She is the caretaker of many. Jen is a master's level social worker and has been a highly valued member of Adoptions of Indiana's clinical team for over 13 years. She plans to continue her work after stabilizing her family.
Because of this accident, and the loss of Lawrence, she is going to incur many expenses and can use our help. Many of her friends, family members, and many of our AOI adoptive families have asked how they can help.
We are attempting to estimate the potential costs related to immediate expenses and helping her stabilize. Any assistance you can provide is deeply appreciated.

* Emergency rescue and medical out of pocket costs
* Funeral expenses
* Bereavement counseling and support for the children and Jen
* Loss of family income
* Future educational needs for the children
