Milo is what they call "An American With No Papers," because he has lived here for 47 of the 50 years of his life.  He has never left the US in 47 years.  Here's the thing though -- Milo has a green card, so he does have some "papers."

Every week, ICE makes a list of immigrants in Denver, raids their homes, and holds them in solitary cells until ICE can dump them in countries they don't know. That is what happened to our Milo.  

We have already paid his lawyers just over $12,000.  Milo needs representation in California and Colorado, because he lived in both states.  This is terribly expensive, but it is Milo's only help.

Milo was brought here from Mexico (with a green card!) when he was 3 years old.
He has never left the U.S. for the past 47 years.  
His sweet wife Minerva, their 4 awesome kids, and their 5 adorable grandbabies are all U.S. Citizens.  We're fighting and believing that Milo will be a US Citizen soon, too.  



ICE raided our home and put Milo in a solitary cell in immigration jail.
He has been sitting there all alone for 6 months.  All because he was born miles from the US border.

We’ve all seen the news . Every day we watch coverage of good people  brought to the U.S. as babies, then deported decades later. ICE is doing this over and over every day and everywhere, because they can. It's happening all over Denver .

Guess what we can learn from the news about who stays and who goes? Guess what deportation really comes down to? Money.


We are Milo’s dearest friends and closest family. We’ve paid over $12,000 to lawyers already. We all work 2 or 3 jobs each, and we’ve sold about everything we own. Milo has been sitting in a solitary cell in the immigration jail for the past 6 months because the judge refuses to set a bond. His case is nowhere near being won, but he has every right to win. He has every right, and yet we all know that Milo. If he can keep his lawyers, that is. He needs them both in CA and CO, and so far we have been able to pay them.  We're getting scared and running out of funds, and we need your help.  Please.



Milo needs more help. He needs you. We all need each other. What’s happening to Milo is happening everywhere. We are each other’s only hope. The sad truth is that we do win these cases when we can pay well connected lawyers. Every victory tells ICE to stop it. Every win exposes what they’re doing.
