Dawn Walker is an Indigenous woman, published author, playwright and community leader who has dedicated her life to telling the stories of First Nations people and has worked diligently to advance the rights and well-being of Indigenous women, families and communities.

Now, she needs our help.

Many Indigenous women feel helpless within the current justice system and this is when they need strong support.

We are respectfully asking you to stand with and support Dawn by contributing to her legal defense fund. We must protect our most vulnerable women and children.

Dawn has assigned her older sister, Patricia Dorion to be the beneficiary on her behalf to offset legal fees for her defense. Any surplus funds will be donated towards #MMIWG2S+ issues.
