StanLee The Man with IMT

Meet StanLee a 3-year-old Yorkie Mix.  He is my son Ethan's best friend and guardian. He's also an emotional support dog and friend for our daughter Payton.  Unfortunately, StanLee is severely ill and has Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (IMT) is a very serious autoimmune disease in which a dog's body attacks its own blood platelets 
When the body's platelet count is depleted, severe bruising or uncontrolled bleeding can occur. Excessive bleeding and bruising can lead to anemia (a low red blood cell count), and if left untreated, death can result. Currently, Stan is in the animal hospital hooked up to an IV and may need a blood transfusion as well as steroid treatments and or possibly get his spleen removed. His platelet count is extremely low and his red blood cell count. When people get sick we don't put them down and if you love animals the way my family loves Stan then you would understand why that is not an option for us. Please help us save our fuzzy little family member on four legs. I am asking for help because of the rising vet costs, medication and life-long treatment StanLee must have in order to stay alive.
