St. Peter's Hall Renovation Project

Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Hebron, Connecticut, breaks ground on our new community kitchen and meeting hall renovation project. The Parish at St. Peter’s is finally implementing a renovation plan that has been on the drawing board for a decade as we begin updating the systems of our mid-century facility.

Phelps Hall is used by various committees, clubs and organizations regionally. A modernized meeting hall with new kitchen addition will amplify St. Peter’s various ministries, fundraising efforts, and volunteerism as we seek to integrate our church community within the greater community in the service of God.

Currently the new kitchen & hall renovation project is 76% funded ($160k raised to date). St. Peter's needs to raise an additional 50K to complete the work. The parish family at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church would be grateful for donations or offers of help as we move forward.


Our hall and kitchen are used for monthly community dinners, with 10% of proceeds going to support our local food banks (HIHS), homeless shelter (Windham No Freeze), youth programs (AHM), and resettling of refugees (IRIS).


Our hall is also used by non-profit organizations such as the Girl and Boy Scouts, the Senior Center, and Red Cross Blood Drives.
