Kenya Mission Trip-St. Mary Church

Donation protected
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world," James 1:27

A group of students from St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in East Brunswick will be traveling with Fr. Mina Dimitri to serve in Kenya during the last two weeks in June. The Coptic church has a strong presence in Kenya. Through the grace of God, the Coptic hospital is the second biggest hospital in Kenya. Our Coptic Church also has an orphanage and many churches throughout the country.

Many native Kenyans became Christians through the work of Coptic missionaries in Kenya. During the time of the mission, the youth will take the blessing of serving the orphans, marketplace, prisons, and house visitation. Unfortunately, the poverty level in Kenya is high and disease control is poor. Our church in Kenya is in continuous need for tools, medicines, electronics to preach, educate, and cure people. Any donation would be a great help, no matter how large, and would allow us to provide a greater amount of services.

If anyone would like to take the blessing of such a great service, please donate here. If you would like to write a check, write your donation to "St. Mary Coptic Church" and Memo "Africa mission trip" and hand it into Fr. Mina Dimitri

We will also be accepting donations of any of the following items that were requested from us:
