The Coptic Christians are one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, dating back to the first century (around 42 AD). The Coptic Church was established by St. Mark the Apostle in Alexandria. The word “Coptic” means “Egyptian" in ancient Greek and was considered the official Egyptian language until the 17th century.
Our beloved Coptic church has been established in Colorado for over 50 years, and with the grace of God, we are in the process of building our new future church. With God’s help and donations from other churches, we were able to purchase a small piece of land to start our project.
On September 16th, 2017 Bishop Karas set the cornerstone for our future church and we are excited to soon have a place for our children and children's children to worship God in all His holiness. A place for meditation and a place to gather in spiritual wisdom for generations to come.
We need your help & support to start the actual building of our new church. We have limited finances and small number local Coptic families to support our project.
