After 31 years of 'set up - pack down' in school halls and community buildings, Southland Church finally has the opportunity to build a brand new facility right at the entrance to the city of Batemans Bay.
The land was purchased in 2015 with the buildings 'Development Application' receiving approval at the end of 2017. With the work scheduled to begin within 2 months, the goal is to be completed by the end of 2018.
Although the project may be heavily mortgaged by the end of the build, we plan on kick starting the work by raising $120,000 over the coming weeks.
Southland Church has a catch cry of being a 'Church Without Walls'.
Our goal, even after the building is complete, is to stay true to our calling of being a people that bring down the divides that separate the church and the community. This new facility will simply act as a hub that supports our vision as we continue the culture to serve the people of our city.
