South Africa Freedom Adventure

I am excited to say I was picked out of a limited group to become a student ambassador and travel to South Africa with the People to People program in the summer of 2015.
This is an opportunity that I never imagine I would be selected to partake in. I am currently reaching out to my community, friends,and family by doing car washes, mowing grass, babysitting, fundraisers, community garage sales and more. I am trying to meet my goal of $8,100 by May of 2015.
"So you ask what makes my project so special and unique?" My project is very unique because I am a 16 year old high school student raising my own funds to pay for my trip to go to South Africa for a 14 day adventure. Where I will meet new people, make new friends, and learn about the South Africa culture. Over the course of the trip I will become more mature, work hard to achieve my goals, and learn to work together as a team.
I have always wanted to travel across the world to learn and understand about the different cultures. With this program and YOU and I wil be able to achieve my goals.
