Sophia Perrotta is 2 years old and in the midst of chemotherapy. She was diagnosed in February 2013 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Although currently in remission, she must continue to endure painful chemotherapy treatment. The journey is not quite over and now The Perrotta Family is only starting to realize the financial burden they will face.
The Perrotta Family's out of pocket medical expenses are a minamum of $7,000.
Sophie has handled this like a champ. She's remained upbeat, spunky and energetic and has become the life of her hospital floor and hope for those surrounding her.
