Cruz Family Recovery Fund

Our beloved colleague, Solvi Cruz, alongside her family, had to stand in front of their building on the 22nd of July 2013 and watch as their apartment burned down to nothing but ashes and rubble while their cat remained trapped inside. Now she and her husband Glen, a veteran NYPD detective, must do their best as loving parents and figure out how to get some sense of normalcy back into their lives and the lives of their adorable two daughters Natalia, age 14 and Gabriella, age 5.

We, as friends and colleagues, will do everything in our power to provide the Cruz family with some of life's basic necessities in order to ease their burden, but they still need as much help as they can get. Therefore, we ask anyone who reads this to please donate whatever they can afford and help a family who have always put others ahead of themselves.

There is no amount of money too small as long as it comes from your heart so please take a minute, look within yourself, and donate whatever you can in the spirit of good samaritanism. Thank you all!
