Help Military Families Celebrate the Holidays

Did you know that military and veteran families often forgo holiday celebrations due to the cost?
That's right. Our military and veteran families often go without a Christmas or other holiday celebration due to the financial burden it can cause for their family. These families live on meager wages and providing gifts or a holiday meal can be difficult, if not impossible.
But with your help, we can all come together to ensure service members and veterans are able to provide a memorable holiday for their family.
Soldiers' Angels Adopt-A-Family program connects eligible low-income families of deployed service members, families of Post 9-11 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans, as well as veteran families enrolled in the HUD/VASH program with individuals, organizations, and businesses interested in adopting them for the holiday season.
In the past three years, the Soldiers' Angels Adopt-A-Family program has provided over 3,900 military and veteran families with financial assistance that allowed them to prepare a holiday meal for their families. In addition, from those 3,900 families, nearly 9,000 children were provided Christmas/holiday gifts when they would have otherwise received nothing.
Soldiers' Angels has an incredible global network of "Angel" volunteers, businesses, groups, and organizations that step up to the plate every year and "adopt" the eligible military and veteran families. However, "adopting" an entire family can be an expensive commitment— both in time and money. Which is why Soldiers' Angels hosts this annual GoFundMe fundraiser to allow even more participation in this fantastic program. It doesn't matter if you can only give $5.00 or have the good fortune to be able to give $500.00, every cent donated to this program helps military and veteran families remember that they are appreciated and supported by the citizens they swore to protect.
If you cannot afford to adopt an entire family, please consider making a donation! The funds raised will help to provide last-minute gift cards to families who did not get matched for adoption or whose gifts were lost or unfulfilled. Our goal is to make sure every family registered for the Soldiers' Angels Adopt-A-Family program receives the holiday support they deserve.
