Socks in the City

Socks in the City is an organization that gives socks and collects stories. Socks are the most needed but least donated clothing item for people experiencing homelessness. Each person that we give socks to is asked for their name and an interesting fact about themselves that they would like to share with us. Our mission is to fill the physical need for socks while filling the emotional need of being seen and heard as a unique individual.

Donations to this fundraiser will initially be put towards the fees for registering as a nonprofit organization. After achieving nonprofit status, additional donations will be put towards buying the materials needed to continue this outreach program, such as socks, toiletries, and other necessities.
