We are a change in rhythm; a groove you can lock into. We celebrtate strange, ugly and evil melodies. We embrace the darkness.
We are Shadow of Everest (SoE).
A humble, 4-piece progressive rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are looking to raise $6500 to embark on a tour through Eastern Canada that will be so much more than 6 shows in 6 cities. Our leg of the tour will be part of a bigger machine known as the "Rise Up Tour", organized and executed by Rosner Management Services (our current management group). The tour is scheduled to begin in May 2016.
You might be thinking, "Dude, that's more than $1000 per show. What's all the money for?". This tour will shape our careers as musicians and we plan to do a little more than show up at a few bars and play for empty rooms. We are also under professional management and let's face it- it isn't cheap. We broke down our costs for you:
Management, administration & marketing costs - $650
Music release to national radio - $1100
Press release(s) concerning tour - $150
Travel and accomodations on the road - $1350
Merchandise for sale on tour - $1550
Physical copies of our CD - $900
Rental and/or repair of equipment - $400
Feeding a 4-man band - $400
A band is nothing without the support of their fans.
We love creating music but we love sharing that music even more. Making a contribution to our campaign means you are fueling talent to deliver again and again.

*SoE VIP Admission Tickets - Will grant the ticket holder free admission to a live Shadow of Everest performance and grant them $5 off any SoE merch purchase (single or multi-item) of $10 or more. NO EXPIRY DATE. Due to the nature of some tours, festivals, concerts or events we cannot guarantee the acceptance of these tickets. However, we will do whatever we can to try and make sure these tickets are accepted. Full details regarding the use of these tickets will be available on our website. Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash. Individual results my vary. Not a significant source of any vital nutrients. You can give away or trade your ticket to a friend as long as you accept the No-Takesies-Backsies clause in your Friendship Agreement. Selfies taken with Shadow of Everest at performance are encouraged but the condition of our smile is not guaranteed.
