Our beautiful son Sky is nearly two years old and was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Anapalastic Ependymoma (Brain Tumour) on Boxing Day 2011. Since then he has undergone surgery multiple times with partial success in removing the tumour. He has been having high dose chemotherapy for 9 months with all the side effects this entails. Unfortunately this is no longer having the desired outcomes and we have been referred to a specialist treatment centre in America for Proton Radiotherapy as this is the best treatment for Sky due to his age.
The NHS are funding the treatment and providing support, this appeal is to cover the costs of living that will build up while we are away for treatment. We would also use any donations to help pay for treats while in Florida.
