How does one go about asking for help? So many people are in need and we never thought we would be in this position. We would love to be able to help others in similar positions and we begin here.

Simonne has always been a giving person, vibrant and generally always sporting a smile. She has been dealt a bad deal (as so many others) and now we ask for help.

2 years ago she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that spread to her brain. The fight has been a long ordeal and she already beat the odds once but now it is taking over and her life will be ending. We celebrate the joy and great memories she has given to all of us. Now we are trying to give back to make the end more comfortable.

The need isn’t for medical bills but for long term care. Insurance is covering the medical and the hospice care when that kicks in but not the in house care needed. (We would recommend to all, to look into long term care insurance before it is too late.) The prognosis is about 6 months to go and she does not have the strength to be at home so she is bound to be in a long term facility that will deplete most of the family’s assets.
