ΣΝ US Dream Academy Fundraiser

We would love it if you would help us help support our local Indianapolis Branch of the U.S. Dream Academy.

Touching upon the work of the U.S. Dream Academy and why we value their organization so highly, we simply admire their commitment to education with dignity, persistency, and honor. Specifically, the seven branches of the U.S. Dream Academy across the nation work with underrepresented individuals (typically minorities) who have a familial history associated with the violent cycle of incarceration. The U.S. Dream Academy works to break this rampant cycle to allow its students to live fruitful lives away from the confines of incarceration.

We are currently attempting to set up a scholarship fund for children involved in the U.S. Dream Academy who are wishing to pursue a college education. With the heavy financial burdens that are placed on the children involved in this program, paying for a secondary education can be extremely difficult. In order to successfully accomplish this objective of creating a scholarship to support their endeavors, we have a goal of raising $10,000. Not only are the kids at the academy fun to work with just in general, but they are kids that appreciate our support, our attention, and everything that we give to them. Please help us on our mission to benefit the lives of underprivileged children in the Indianapolis area.

The Dream Academy is looking to use the funds raised by our chapter of Sigma Nu to create a scholarship program that will be provided to children in the afterschool program once they pursue a college education. With your help and support, together we can help underprivileged children obtain their goal of attending college and be a contributing member of society. The members of our chapter of Sigma Nu volunteer at the Indianapolis location for the Dream Academy on a weekly basis. As a result of our presence, these children are exposed to an older college mentor that they can look up to for guidance and support. Please help us in our mission to provide the financial means and resources necessary for these kids to reach success later in life.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
