SickSpits is six slick poets, plus the hundreds of performers and audience members that flow with it. Now, five poets born from core members and other contenders have formed a team to go compete at CUPSI for the first time since 2008.
To put it short, CUPSI is a Really Big Deal -- college teams from all over the nation come together for one weekend to spit their souls out on stage. This year, we need about $4,000* to get us there (it's in Virginia!). Which is where you come in -- we're calling on y'all to help us out.
From Open Mics to Writers' Workshops, SickSpits has given its all to UC Davis, and now it's your chance to give back. Help get us to CUPSI, and we'll rep you harder than the bench press in the ARC.

lodging= $600
taxi to/from hotel=$60
food=$175
(our total cost is higher than what we're asking for, due to some funding from the university. also, if we get funded over the asked amount, we'll use the leftovers to do cool stuff at the Open Mics, like more featured poets or pizza!)
