Donations for Sheri Ellis
Hi! My name is Sheri Ellis and I am a homeschool mom. I have a husband and 4 beautiful children all of whom will be enrolled in a homeschooling program called classical conversations. We have been a part of this program for 5 years now, and have loved it so much. When we joined, my oldest was 4 at the time and loved workbooks. At this time, there were no options for her. Rote drill was never a good fit for our family and we needed more. I designed a notebook to go along with our classical style of learning and found that it was loved by more than just our family. Over the past 3 years the notebook has grown and evolved, and become a big part in people's homeschooling. So much so that people have been asking all summer long to have a go fund me set up. I appreciate all of the support this great community of Classical Conversations gives to my family.
Over the years our family has been hit with big financial burdens and a few times we werent sure how we'd cover tuition and the financial troubles. But we have been carried by all of you through the years and I can't thank each and every one of you who have been and continue to be a part of helping my family thrive.
I wasn't sure I would even be able to tackle doing a notebook this year due to life stresses. (The house we rented was sold and we had to find a new place, ended up buying a house that was considerably less expensive then renting in our area but needed a lot of fixing up)
But as always, God's grace has been so wonderful to our family and having so much support and help and love from our community around us we were able to fix the home and move in.
I am still needing to take on as many work hours as I can this year to pay our new higher monthly home payment, but I feel God has called me to finish this work for my children and the people of our community who are blessed by it. I am pressing on, and through you all the Lord has enormously blessed us.
