Additional Bathrooms at Shelf Road!

The PPCA's mission is to promote sustainable climbing, foster education, and protect the resources of the Pikes Peak region.
In support of our bylaws and mission, the Pikes Peak Climbers Alliance is assuming a primary role in the sustainability of the Shelf Road climbing area near Canon City, CO. Over the past couple decades, several local groups have volunteered their resources and thousands of hours to the upkeep, maintainence, and accesibilty of the limestone mecca.
As the obvious popularity of the area grows and sees over 52,000 visitors a year, changes need to happen. For starters, adding a new bathroom to the Bank parking lot is among the top additions in need.
With funding and support provided by the BLM, the AAC (who has already awarded us $5,000), RMFI, the Access Fund, and other local organizations, additional money is needed to complete the project.
The PPCA is kindly asking for the help of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts alike to donate to the cause. Please help us make this project a reality!!
