Sheila Goes to Italy!

I’ve always dreamed about going to Europe and drooling in front of the masters. When the opportunity came up to not only visit Italy in May 2018, home of Renaissance greats like Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Donatello (heroes in a half shell, turtle power!), but to also participate in a landscape workshop under a beloved professor of mine, I believe my reaction was a shriek.
A very ugly shriek.
Followed by a blazing fire set inside of me, determined to go no matter what.
Followed by the number crunching, logistical part of me that was determined to make enough commissions to fund this trip.
Followed by an overwhelming sense of fear that it won’t happen.
Finally, followed by the support of my loved ones that made it clear that I absolutely cannot pass this opportunity up!!!!!!!!!!!!
So here is my first GoFundMe campaign— I want to raise funds for art through art!
How the funds will be allocated:
Flights: $700 from SFO, $300 back to CT
Tuition: $1000
1 week boarding: $800
Art Supplies: $200
Total: $3000
*Food, Travel in Italy, and potential extended stay to explore/capture Florence not included*
