Help Sheila Kick Cancer To The Curb

Support For Sheila
My loving wife of 28 years, Sheila Gironda Maher, was diagnosed with brain cancer on October 31, 2017.  Anyone who has met Sheila knows that she is always smiling, eternally optimistic, and has a deep love for her family and friends.  She is a devoted mother to our two sons, Richard, a fireman for Neptune and Asbury Park, and Ryan, a high school sophomore, and our daughter Tracy, mother of our three beautiful grandchildren.  Sheila is also a dedicated memeber of the Neptune City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Sheila began to experience a headache and a change in her vision.  I took her to the emergency room at Jersey Shore Medical Center and we were devasted to learn that she had a glioblastoma brain cancer.  They immediately scheduled brain surgery.  Most of her tumor was removed on November 7th. Sheila is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.  She is not able to drive and will be unable to return to work.

We were hoping to raise $35,000 to cover our building medical expenses and lost income.  We would sincerely appreciate any donations to help Sheila focus on her recovery and not have to worry about the costs.  Feel free to share our story with others.  To help get the word out, you can share my link to your Facebook Timeline.  We understand if you aren't able to donate at this time.  Regardless, we would appreciate if you would keep us in your  thoughts and prayers.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Richard Maher
