Shawn Patrick Cheyne, (36) of Grand Rapids MI, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, July 29, 2017. The world lost an irreplaceable Son, Brother/Brother-in-law, Father, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Significant other (Kelly Shelton) and Friend. Shawn truly lived his life boldly, unapologetic and forever dedicated to his family and those he sincerely loved.
The legacy Shawn leaves behind will always be his utmost desire to live life to the fullest/in the moment, with great pride, extraordinary enthusiasm, unconditional love, dedication and selflessness, that few will ever demonstrate or achieve in an entire lifetime.
Though Shawn was a victim of boundlessness depression for several years, (s/p his Father's death, in 10/12) he maintained the role of being an exceptional individual and Father, that his own Father would've been proud of. Shawn was the proud Father of Emerson, Bennett and Lennon Cheyne, who will deeply mourn him and be effected by his absence indefinitely.
As Shawn's death was unexpected, the costs of his funeral, (absorbed by his Mother/family) finances to help raise his three children and outstanding debts are left to absorb by his surviving family members. We are asking for you to extend your help/love to keep Shawn's legacy ALIVE, by selflessly donating to his family whom are significantly in need, due to his absence. EVERY little bit helps. We appreciate you all. Shawn will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. RIP loved one, until we ALL meet again.
