I not anyone famous or extra special, but I am a woman loves others. I wants to LIVE LIFE to the Fullest & the Best that I can!!! Like the majority of women I am a mom, daughter, sister, friend and most recently a Nanna! I Love with all my Heart and gives God all the praise for all of my blessings!!! Sadly, one thing separates me from most, a chronic disabiling disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS)!
I intially went blind in my right eye , fearfully I rushed to the optomisterist. My doctor referred her to a Neurologist, who diagnosed me with Multiple Sclerosis. Over the years MS showed it's ravenious effects in many ways. In 2002, I would spend six months in the hospital where MS paralyzed me from the nose down. At times, I spent in the ICU and intensive units. I couldn't move ANYTHING but my eyebrows. I couldn't swallow and was put on a feeding tube and for much of the time was mute because I couldn't speak. Those were some of the darkest days of my life. But by the grace of God and nothing short of a mircle I recovered from those attacks and lived outwardly a somewhat normal life ~ with the use of handicap equipment.
With God's help I lived life the best as I could, making the most of my time. That is until a few years ago, when I became unable to care for myself altogether. I had to move into an elderly nursing home for the aged & dying, then moved to an assisted nursing facility for handicap people which is where I reside today. I still relies deeply own my faith but finds each new set back increasing harder.

Recently I have had recurring UTI's that have had life-threatening effects on my body. It was during one of these episodes, that I came to realize that I had exhausted all medical options thus far. That is until I decided to look into Stem Cell Treatment, with other alternative theraphies. These alternative medicines have the potential to halt my MS and even repair some damaged areas in my body.
For me, being able to put on and tie my own shoes, stand up in parallel bars and take a few steps would be a HUGE feat. And to be able to do these little actions would be like a miracle for me! While we may think touching our toes or flipping a light switch easy silly things. Yet to me they are difficult to impossible tasts for me but still gaining the ability to do them is what I aspire to do!
I believe that "All Things are Possible with God". And even though Stem Cell Treatment is not cure, it can dramatically change her life for the better.
I'm asking for your support in raising the funds I need to have this life-changing treatment, and help her continue being the best mom, daughter, sister, friend and Nanna ever!
PREP AND PROCEDURE
The clinic is in San Diego with StemGenex, a stem cell research facility that has been doing studies for 10 years with stem cells for a myriad of different ailments.The first step will be getting blood tests done to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that I don't have anything, such as cancer, that would cause complications with the procedure. Once they review my blood panels, I will schedule her procedure date.
I'll fly to San Diego, have a meet with the doctor about the specifics of the procedure. A small amount of liposuction performed to extract dormant stem cells from my own body, then they will reactivate the stem cells and mix it with my own blood. The next day, I will undergo a series of injections in my brain, spinal column, bladder, extremities, all over! Then the third day, they will do an exam to make sure everything is taking properly, and I'll fly home! That simple and quick, and with only minimal side effects.
I have met with her neurologist who is supports me trying this procedure and will follow my post treatment.
Although I realize that this is not a miracle cure, I welcomes any little bit of relief and is hopeful. Thank you so much for reading, and for everything from prayers to funding &/or reposting.
