Hello Everyone!
My name is Sharee Pearson and I am an upcoming senior at Georgetown University. I am pursuing my undergraduate degree at the School of Nursing and Health Studies majoring in International Health with French as my minor. The International Health program at Georgetown is designed to help students with unique opportunities for hands-on learning locally, nationally, and abroad. All students are required to study abroad during the fall semester of our senior year.
My time has arrived and I am excited about the opportunity to be involved in an internship at the Dodowa Health and Research Centre in Dodowa, Ghana. During this three and a half month experience in Ghana, I will live with a host family. Unfortunately, my scholarship does not cover all of my study abroad expenses. I have to cover my own travel and living expenses. I am soliciting your support in my effort to raise $4,000 to offset my out-of-pocket costs. I will depart for Ghana on August 30th. Therefore, I have to reach my goal by August 20th. Any contribution you may offer to help me further my education would be greatly appreciated!
