Get Shannon to World Championships

Due to my placement at the 2017 Aquathlon National Championship, I have earned a spot on Team USA for the 2018 ITU Aquathlon World Championship. The 2018 ITU World Championships will take place on the island of Fyn in the city of Odense, Denmark.T he current event dates are July 6-14, 2018.

I am extremely honored and excited to represent Team USA at this event.

I need to raise $5000-6000, to be able to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity.  I was informed 1/15/18 that most everything needs to be paid up front now. Eek!  Donations of any amount ($10,20...) would be deeply appreciated.

I am also seeking additional sponsors for 2018. Please contact me if you , your employer, or other business, are interested in sponsoring me for 2018. Your name/logo would appear on my training/race kit., etc.

Athletic Biography: "Shannon has been active in endurance sports (triathlon and running) for many years.  The physical activity helped with fibromyalgia (diagnosed at a young age).  And after a bike wreck, then multiple spinal surgeries and eye surgery in 2015, she has been unable to ride, so began competing in aquathlon (run/swim/run), in addition to single sport events (swimming and running). We are optomistic she will be able to return to riding soon, but she will continue to compete in her new found events."
