SHANNON OSWALD'S KENYA MISSION TRIP!

HEY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

I would like to start off by thanking each of you for the impact you have made on my life in some way, shape, or fashion. I am confident to be who I am, go where I am called to go, and share my life with others, because you have given so much of yourselves to me. I will forever be grateful for God's handpicked people in my life.

That being said, I AM GOING TO AFRICA!!!! AND, I am going soooon! I NEED YOUR HELP!!!! God has a sense of humor because He has already provided an airline ticket for me to get to Kenya, but has yet to show me how I will be getting home! :) I have a DESPERATE need to meet financial goals, and I am trying to trust Him on a deeper level and be obedient in raising funds to go on this mission. I leave June20th and that is really soon!!!!!

I am still short on the financial part, but I have FAITH that you cannot outgive God, HE is the owner of ALL of our resources, and His promises are true, He never fails!!! So I am trusting with a sincere heart that He will provide completely through the hearts of His children, YOU!!!!!! ;) Partner with me, and you will be an instrument in God's army to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to ALL nations, and the Lord will BLESS YOUR SOCKS OFF in return!

I leave JUNE 20th for 10 days with my friends from NewSpring Church, and we are partnering with the 410 Bridge organization to share the beautiful news of Christ with the people of Africa, beginning in Kenya, in a small area 3.5hrs north of Nairobi in the Segera Desert. Wow. I am still in shock.


BRIEF RUNDOWN OF WHAT WE WILL BE DOING:
(SKIP THIS IF YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE ME MONEY AND YOU'RE OKAY WITH THAT)



We will be spending most of our time working with the community there, already established and partnered with by the 410Bridge, who helps come alongside the people and assist them with fundamental aspects of life-giving: JESUS is first and foremost, who governs and directs all things!!!... then the basics like drilling water wells to provide fresh and clean water to the communities, life skills and education to the people and schools for the children, medical assistance and clinics to care for the sick, and the list goes on and on.

This particular trip is geared with medicine in mind, we will be setting up a medical tent and doing whatever God brings to the table for us. We have a team of doctors and nurses and every other skill level on the playing field! We even have teachers and singers and students involved! All of us are excited to see the hand of Jesus moving mightily as we pour our lives into His people.

I am so excited to share myself with Africa, and give back to Him what He has graciously given to me, through serving His children.
God has specifically called me to go on this trip, even at this crazy time in my life with two small babies at home, and I am CERTAIN of this through repeated confirmation each day I ask! He continues to show me a heart for people, a deep affection for those lost and hurting, a people passed over because of afflictions and poverty and pain. I want to BE THE CHANGE I WANT TO SEE IN THIS WORLD, and I fully believe it can make a difference with one set of willing hands, and a pair of ready feet. Please allow your heart to move as you share in this harvest with me, and partner with me as I share my life with this world, preaching Jesus to everyone with ears to hear me.

He has given me this story, and it is my life to share His story with the world, for His greater glory!!!




((THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED THEIR CONCERNS ABOUT IF THIS IS SAFE?, WHAT AM I THINKING?, RIGHT NOW?))

The same God who created the universe with the snap of His fingers, the same One who breathed life into my lungs, is the Same TODAY as He will EVER be, and He cares not only for me, but also for YOU. He will never leave me or forsake me, He "GIVES NATIONS IN EXCHANGE FOR MY LIFE"!

He tells us in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not consume you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you...(v.4-5a)..because you are precious in my sight, and HONORED, and I LOVE YOU...do not fear, for I am with you!!!

What better time is it to serve the Lord, than right now? He has given SO much of Himself to me, and I want to attempt to show the world who He is and what He does with His beloved!




We were created for worship, and once we discover why we were born and for what purpose, is when our lives TRULY begin. I'm all in, JESUS! Have your way.
