Shamony Makeba Gibson was the embodiment of light. She drew light and she emanated Power.
Shamony, age 30, was a beloved daughter, sister, life partner, mother, entrepreneur and friend who was taken from us just two weeks after bringing new life into the world. No one could have foreseen or prepared for such a tragic loss. At this time, the family is requesting your support with funding Shamony’s celebration of life services and providing financial covering for her two children, Anari and Khari Maynard.
Shamony’s parents, Shawnee Benton Gibson and Mark Gibson, her life partner, Omari Marynard, and her siblings Najiah Worrell and Jasmine Gibson, want to celebrate Shamony’s life in a way that honors her legacy of joy, love, laughter, beauty, creativity and SPIRITUALITY.
Shamony touched so many lives as a performance artist, natural leader and entrepreneur. Her magical hands were used to style, groom and grow natural hair and to build a successful business with her partner Omari called “Art-Fulliving”. Shamony was beyond gifted and she used her talents to bless others; especially children.
