Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
We wanted to share with you about an amazing ministry opportunity that God has presented to both Jamison and I. From March 31 to April 7 we have the chance to go to the Dominican Republic with the youth group at Victory Church. This 7 day missions trip will be reaching out and spreading the gospel to the Dominican and Haitian people while also learning more about the people there and their culture. The youth pastor was informing the teens about this trip, talking about what they would be doing down there and what to expect as far as living conditions and food supply and what a day in the life of a Dominican or Haitian would look like and God really burdened Jamison's heart to want to go. When he talked to Becca and I about it we were blessed to see the work God was doing in his heart! I also felt led to go as a chaperone and believe God has something great in store for both my son and I on this trip.
While God has opened this door for us and softened our hearts towards His people around the world, we would ask that you consider sharing in this compassion in any way you can. The first, and most important thing you can do for us is to pray for both of us, as well as all the other students and adults going with us. Please, keep us in your prayers, pray for our safety in traveling and while we are out of the country. Pray that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of the Dominican Republic. We also need prayer that all of our financial needs will be met. We each need $900 to be able to go, and that is quite a challenge!
Another way you can be involved is to help provide that financial support. Would you consider supporting us with a small donation? We are trying to raise all our funds by February 10 in order to pay for airline tickets and other travel arrangements. If you would like to help us you can make a donation here or you can make checks payable to Chris Seymour with Jamison's and/or my name on the memo line and send them to our address below. Whether you feel you can contribute financially, through prayer, or both, please know that all of your support is appreciated.
We look forward to seeing what God has in store for us, both physically and spiritually and we are so very excited to see how God will use us in the Dominican Republic. We will be sure to let you know all that God worked through our team when we return in April.
