Kayli's Service Dog Fund
Donation protected
I began my medical journey in 2015 when I was the recipient of brain trama. As a result I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. This condition makes it extremely hard to walk. Its to the point that I cant walk through the grocery store without passing falling over. This is because the blood pools in my legs and cant get to my brain. I also suffer from an extremely elevated heart rate, shaking hands, mental fog and constant exhaustion. Including P.O.T.S., I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Disorder and brain trama. Since I have a numerous amount of chronic illnesses my doctors have decided that a medical alert dog would improve my quality of life.
Some things Talia will do is...
• pick things up off the floor for me
• alert me when my heart rate is too high and I need to sit down
• deep tissue therapy
• sniff for nuts (i have a severe nut allergy)
• break the habit of chronic skin picking
And more
Unfortunately training a service dog is expensive and my family simply cant afford it on our own. We've depleted funds to pay for my medical bills. Any donations would be amazing! Please share my story with others.
