<div>Help Us Create a Sensory-Safe Studio &amp; Community Darkroom in Albany Park – A Creative Home for All

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hi, I’m Tristine Walker. I’ve spent the last two decades capturing moments and telling stories through my camera—and now, I’m inviting you to help build something bigger than any single photo: a space where our entire community can come together, feel safe, and create freely.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m working to open a sensory-safe photography studio and a community darkroom right here in Albany Park. This will be more than just a studio; it will be a welcoming, creative hub where photographers of all kinds—whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or building your photography business—can find community, resources, and support.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Why This Matters

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Everyone deserves a place where they feel seen and heard, especially in a world that can be overwhelming—whether you’re neurodivergent, living with sensory sensitivities, or just in need of a quiet, welcoming space to create. I want to make sure no one feels excluded from the joy of photography.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Our sensory-safe studio will offer a comfortable environment for portraits, headshots, and creative sessions, designed to meet each person’s needs so they can show up as themselves. Meanwhile, the community darkroom will give photographers a space to explore the magic of film, learn new skills, and keep the art of analog photography alive—opening doors for anyone curious about traditional methods.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>What We’re Building Together

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>✨ A Sensory-Safe Studio

</div>

<div>A calm, thoughtfully designed space where every client and photographer can feel at ease, without harsh lights or overwhelming noise—so the focus stays on authentic connection and creativity.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> A Community Darkroom

</div>

<div>A shared place to develop film, experiment, and learn together. Whether you’re an experienced film photographer or just curious, this darkroom will give you affordable, hands-on access to the art of analog photography.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> A Creative Hub for Everyone

</div>

<div>This space will empower photographers to bring their clients, hold portrait sessions, and grow their own businesses—building equity, experience, and community along the way.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Accessible Learning Opportunities

</div>

<div>We’ll offer workshops and resources that make photography accessible to all, opening the world of visual storytelling to people of every background.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The Heart of This Dream

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m rebuilding my business after health challenges, and this vision is deeply personal. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels like they belong, where art and community intersect, and where we lift each other up through creativity and connection.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>By supporting this campaign, you’re helping build a place where creativity isn’t limited by comfort, access, or experience—where everyone can find inspiration, learn, and share their unique perspective.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>How You Can Help

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Donate: Every contribution brings us closer to opening our doors.

</div>

<div> Share: Spread the word so more people know a space like this is coming.

</div>

<div> Book a Session: Support the studio and get beautiful portraits or headshots in return.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s come together to build something extraordinary—a space where photography is for everyone, and where our community can celebrate creativity in all its forms.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for believing in this dream and for helping create a future where everyone is welcome to be their creative selves.
