I am trying to help raise funds for my daughter to attend her senior trip this April. Without going into the gory details, her dad - who was supposed to be paying for it - decided at the last minute that he won't.
She put down the $500 deposit; money she saved from Christmas, summer youth employment and birthday gifts; and now she needs to pay more! Her teacher is giving her an extension to have the payment in by February 24, instead of the 20th when it was originally due.
I am on a 15 hour schedule with school right now; it is impossible for me to work any harder to make this money for her. I only just found out about this money being due a few days ago, so I am doing my best to help her.
She runs track at her high-school, was on the honor roll last semester as well as a few semesters before. She has received two partial scholarships to two colleges where she wants to study criminal justice. Along with this campaign she will be doing candy fundraisers at her school.
This is a milestone event in a teenager's life, and I would hate for her to miss out on it unnecessarily. Please help her reach her goal and more. All the funding goes directly to her so she can pay for the trip. Any excess funding she plans on using towards her prom, and to head off to college.
Thanks for reading! Any help you can give is appreciated.
