We are planning to do a Discipleship Training School through Youth With A Mission this fall, and we need your help!
We are newlyweds, Uriah and Kaycee Stepp! We love each other and God very much, and are thrilled and terrified to jump out and take this step in obedience!
Although we have traveled a lot and been through a lot of training as individuals, we have never done anything quite as adventurous and risky as what we are doing now. We look forward to what God is about to do in each of us, to bring us closer to his heart and help move us to his calling for our lives.
Our school is in South Africa this September, and will be comprised of 3-month classroom training followed by 2 to 3 months of outreach out on the mission field!!! Here is the link. The breakdown of costs is as follows:
R18,500/$1751.12 for lecture fees
+R30,000/$2839.65 for the outreach fees
R48,500/$4590.77 total per student
x 2 students
$9181.54 total for school and outreach fees
(This includes our housing, food, and travel, once we arrive at the school.)
Airplane tickets will cost approximately $4,000 to get there and back. The extra is a little cushion of approximately $1,818.46 for the few mandatory bills and things we might need when we arrive at the base.
Along with this website, we will be doing some fundraising and we are just thrilled to see how God will do the impossible when we step out and do the possible. He is going to provide in amazing, incredible ways!
