My Mission Trip to Roatan

I am excited to be leading a mission team to build a home for the Ramos family with Dwellings on the Island of Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. The trip is from July 9th-19th, 2015. We work with the family and neighbors to build the home over 4-6 days. Dwellings builds 15-20 homes a year on the Island of Roatan.
I am looking to raise $2000 to cover my costs for the trip. Airfare, lodging, meals and transportation on the island to the build is included in the total. As a team we also raise the funds needed to build the house (on a separate site). The link to our team page is below.
I am bilingual and will provide translating/interpreting throughout the trip for our team. For me, this is a special way to give back. While growing up and learning Spanish as a student and volunteer in other countries, people I met were caring, understanding and helpful. Much of my professional career was built on my bilingual ability - possible because of other people's willingness to help me.
Dwellings buys all the build materials in-country supporting the local economy. We stay at a local, family owned hotel, also helping the local economy.
Being able to provide a family with a home changes their life for generations. A safe, secure home allows for all family members to go to school or work. The health of the family as a whole is improved.
