Send Me to Augustana College

One down, three to go! Well, I made it through my freshman year at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, on a wing and a prayer. Serendipity brought me to here and and it's helping me see the world. I chose the school as I wanted to experience more of the world than the walls of Southeastern Wisconsin. I am sticking with this no matter what it takes and so here I am. My family has done a lot for me and we have exhausted the loan routes. I want to handle this as much as I can to help them out as it's my education and I appreciate what they have done. I work two pizza delivery jobs to help pay for school and have saved enough to get me through my first trimester of this year. In fact, I've become so good at the pizza delivery gig that the first person to donate a $1,000.00 gets a personally delivered pizza anywhere in the continental U.S. from me. Of course, if I have to travel outside of the Southeastern Wisconsin/Chicagoland area to deliver this pizza, I'll probably have spent the grand so why not make it $999 and save me the trip? My current plan of action is studying engineering physics. I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega, ultimate frisbee, and a local fraternity (Beta Omega Sigma) on campus, so I stay involved both academically and socially. I'm gaining an outstanding education and an even better life experience. August 26th, here I come.
