Message from Neal Sellers:
On Wednesday, July 2nd, my family was met with a terrible tragedy. My two daughters, Joie Tiyler Sellers, 12 years old, and Charli Camryn Sellers, 9 years old, were not far from their home in Brooklyn with their mother, when all 3 were struck by a hit and run driver. Charli and her mom were left in critical condition, fighting for their lives, and we are devastated by the loss of my beloved daughter Joie.
Joie was a beautiful and talented young lady who brought so much joy to our lives and to the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Charli is a little girl that lights up a room, and I am by her bedside watching that happen every time she opens her eyes, as her condition slowly continues to improve.
On behalf of my family, I want to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support that we have received from everyone.
