Get "Seguin Rocks" to Globals!

These kids have worked for months on their Destination Imagination challenge. They won 3rd place at the Texas state competition and earned the chance to participate at the Global competition taking place in Tennessee from May 21-24.  Now we need to fund their trip! Any amount of money will help send them to the competition. All the profits will aid them in travel, housing and other costs associated with this wonderful opportunity.

Destination ImagiNation is an academically-based, multi-disciplinary, creative problem solving program for students from kindergarten through university. Students form teams of up to seven, facilitated by an adult volunteer team manager, and select one of six challenges published each year. The challenges are intentionally vaguely written, allowing teams a great deal of latitude in interpreting the requirements of the challenge. The team works together to solve their challenge, using whatever talents and interests they possess individually and collectively. Only team members can work on their solution. They cannot use any suggestions made by friends, siblings, parents, teachers, or even their team manager. After solving their challenge, the teams showcase their solution in the form of a five to eight minute skit at a regional (local) tournament in early March. The teams are scored by volunteer appraisers, and the top-placing teams advance to the affiliate (state) finals, held in early April. The top teams in each challenge and age level are invited to advance to Global Finals, held in May in Knoxville, Tennessee.
