Help send our Hopi girls to Footlocker Midwest Regionals!!!
The Girls on the Second Mesa Cross-Country team have been extremely grateful for the support they have received from the public on their running. These girls have a passion for running that is mind blowing! The girls have been making and reaching their goals all season. Their first goal was to become H.E.A.L. (Hopi Elementary Athletics League) Champions, they reached that goal. Their second goal was to become N.H.A.J.H.L. (Navajo-Hopi Area Junior High League) Champions, they reached that goal. Their third goal was to place in the top 4 at the Arizona Youth Cross-Country Championships; they dominated and are the 2019 Champions! They are 3X Champions this year and they are still surprised at themselves!
Now they have set a new goal, that is to represent girls, their school, and the Hopi Reservation and run at the Footlocker Midwest Regional Youth Championships! (The West Region does not have a youth championship race.) This race is set for November 30th in Kenosha, Wisconsin. They have less than 2 weeks to raise funds to make their goal happen. This is where we ask you all to help these runners reach another goal! Any contribution helps!
