Hey--all! This is Roman the Warrior's mommy and I'm reaching out to you for another little boy! We had such an outpouring of love from friends and strangers that we want to be able to forward that kindness to another family.
Seamus, a five year old boy living in Havelock North Carolina, has recently been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) with the Philadelpha chromosome--placing him in the high risk category. A medical port has already been surgically implanted and chemotherapy and steroid treatments have immediately begun.
Before
So far it has been a heart wrenching fearful journey for Seamus's daddy and mommy and they could use some friendly help. Seamus is receiving treatment at Children's Oncology at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, approximately a 1 to 1 1/2 hour trip from his home. Unsure as to how they will actually pay for all the hospitalizations and continued treatments--they are estimated to receive up to 50% in health insurance aid.

It is my and my husband's wish--parents who are fighting through the nightmare and are now at a more hopeful and better stage--for Seamus and his family to have help. We want to ease some of the financial burden of traveling and being away from home, as well as help paying for Seamus's battle against Leukemia!
No family should go through this alone and we are grateful for all those who made our family a part of yours and for further considering Seamus's family! We have been recently connected to Seamus's daddy through a mutually close friend, who referred us because he knew that we had the heart to help.
