Scout's Medical Bills
My heart is broken with the great loss of my beloved Scout, and the grief is overwhelming. Honest to God . . . though Scout had a five and a half pound tumor in her spleen, we really did believe she would recover from this. And Scout fought has hard as anyone could once the tumor was removed. What we did not know was that she had a rare, aggressive form of leukemia and my poor baby died before we could even get the lab results back.
As I try and move on from this, I am left with the stinging reality of her medical bills - and this is why I have found it necessary to create a fund-raiser. The bills have totalled $4695, and so I am asking for any monetary assistance you may consider to ease this blow.
You all have shown such love and understanding with my loss - each in your own way, each with your own story - and for that I will be forever grateful.
For me ... Scout was my baby, my joy, my protector, my love, my best friend and my buddy ... and now she is my Angel.
Thank you, God Bless you all.
Good-bye my dear Baby Scout. I love you so!Her immediate revovery was remarkable, she did so good - we really thought she was going to make it.
She fought so hard for me. She really did. God I love her.
Gosh, she was a really bad swimmer.
Isn't it nice when we find the perfect spot where we belong.
Children and a childs laughter was her favorite thing in the whole world. Belly rubs were pretty great too.
That darn cute face could melt the snow in anyones heart.
She was just plain silly.
Take it from me, kid .. it's not easy being a stuffed animal.
Scout!
