Scott’s Recovery

My dad has battled a tough disease for as long as I can remember and he’s always been so strong. A few days ago we got the tough news that a piece of equipment that we have relied on for years was being rejected by his body. The doctors performed emergency surgery within hours of the discovery. Fortunately, Dad did not have serious infection throughout and is coming home to begin his new normal. While we are not out of the woods just yet we know we are on the right path. 

Dad will require a home nurse to administer antibiotics around the clock to ensure the infection is removed. This cost is something our family couldn’t have foreseen and we are overwhelmed by how little Medicare will assist. We are raising money to cover the cost of the home nurse care so we can take that stress off him while he focuses on his recovery.
