Scott Wrzesien Memorial Scholarship

Hello everyone! For my Senior Project I will be creating a scholarship in my dad's name to help pay the tuition of a John Carroll student whose family is affected by cancer. Thanks to the gracious acts of the financial offices at John Carroll I was given the gift of being able to afford to go to this school when we were struggling to pay both tuition and medical expenses. This was one less worry on my mom and my family during the darkest time of our lives, which granted us the chance to focus on what mattered most, being with my dad during his final days. When someone is diagnosed with cancer, so is the family, which causes each and every member of the family to have daily anxieties. Because of this, I want to grant someone the gift of having one less anxiety: not having to worry about financial matters. My mom said that during this tragic time, one of the most significant forms of help she received was her financial aid from John Carroll. All of this being said I need your help to raise money to create this scholarship! My dad was such a giving person I want his legacy to reflect that. Any donations you can give will be helping me to help those at my school who are affected by cancer. The goal is to recieve this amount of money before spring so that way our family can present someone with this scholarship before I graduate in May so their tuition can be paid for the following year.
