Flood Victims: The Schwartz Family

Brian and Carol Schwartz have helped so many families in the years I have known them. And now they need our help. The storm drains failed in the area where they live and Hurricane Harvey has filled thier house and cars with water (and rising).
What makes this family so special is their compassion and stepping in to help so many families. During the floods in April 2016 and the one right after that, they worked hard to pack up and evacuate families. They took one family into their home for a month. They worked hard afterwards in the moldy, mucky waters to help with clean-up and rebuilding.
Numerous times Brian (owner of Fulshear Safe and Lock) came out to help us at no charge. His kids have gotten up at 6 am to help me maintain our farm and animals while our son goes through cancer treatments and I struggle with a chronic, painful illness.
Carol, Brian's wife, came and cleaned my house and garage to prepare for a wake for a dear friend who died suddenly. She also helped organize a blood drive for our son.
Yesterday, they were once again moving/evacuating families out of danger areas. They were taking families in, believing their house would be safe and dry. But the water came up fast inside, all the cars are ruined and Brian's Fulshear Safe and Lock truck (their livelihood) is filled with water. Brian had to wade
neck -high through snake-infested waters with floating islands of fire-ants to get out to safety.
Please share your heart, prayers and donations to help the Schwartz family they way they have given service to their community. It will be a long road to clean up and rebuild. My name is Marita Segal and I am the Schwartz's friend and neighbor. I reside outside of Houston in one of the areas hardest hit by flooding. The Schwartz kids help me take care of our farm while our son goes through cancer treatments. They are like family to us. My goal is to raise funds to help them rebuild after the floods and get their Fulshear Safe and Lock truck up and running quickly.
